A RESOLUTION OF THE MiAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT A QUiT CLAIM DEED FROM
THE CiTY OF MIAMI DEPARTMENT OF OFF- STREET PARKING TO THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FOR THE CONVEYANCE OF THE PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED AT
1630 NORTHWEST 58 TERRACE, MiAMI, FLORIDA AND 1620 NORTHWEST 58
STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS LEGALLY DESCRIBED IN "EXHIBIT A,"
ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED; AUTHORIZING THE CiTY MANAGER TO
CONVEY, WITH PARCEL REVERTER PROVISIONS, SAiD PARCELS OF LAND
TO PALMETTO HOMES OF MIAMI, INC., FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR LOW TO MODERATE INCOME PERSONS;
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS, FOR SAID PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Department of Off -Street Parking ("DOSP") is the current owner of
the parcels of land located at 1630 Northwest 58 Terrace, Miami, Florida and 1620 Northwest 58
Street, Miami, Florida ("Properties"); and
WHEREAS, DOSP has agreed to release the Properties to the City of Miami ("City") for the
development of affordable housing; and
WHEREAS, there is a pressing need for decent, affordable housing in the City; and
WHEREAS, the City will convey, with parcel reverter provisions, the Properties to Palmetto Homes
of Miami, Inc. ("Palmetto"), for the development of affordable housing; and
WHEREAS, Palmetto will have eighteen (18) months from the date of land conveyance to
complete the construction;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CiTY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2, The City Manager is authorizedf 1} to accept a Quit Claim Deed from DOSP, to the City,
for the conveyance of the Properties, as legally described in "Exhibit A," attached and incorporated.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized{1} to convey, with parcel reverter provisions, the
Properties to Palmetto, for the development of affordable housing for low to moderate income
persons.
Section 4. The City Manager is further authorized f 1} to execute all necessary documents, for said

Footnotes:
{1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed
by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code
provisions.
(2) If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
