[Commissioner Marc David Sarnoff - District 2] PETITION AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 11000, AS AMENDED, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, BY AMENDING ARTICLE 10, SECTION 10.6.3.7. SD -7 CENTRAL BRICKELL RAPID TRANSIT COMMERCIAL -RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, IN ORDER TO MODIFY THE SIGN REGULATIONS FOR HOTEL USES IN THE SD -7 ZONING DISTRICT; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. PLANNING RECOMMENDATION Approval. BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS This will allow for Hotels located within SD -7 (Central Brickell Rapid Transit Commercial -Residential District), to increase the height, size or number of signs subject to Class II Special Permit. PLANNING ADVISORY BOARD Recommended approval to City Commission on December 16, 2009 by a vote of 7-0.
