City of Miami Commission ChamberCommunity 3500 Pan American Drive bevelopment Miami, FL 33133 Federal regulations governing Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") and other United States Housing and Urban Development ('HUD") programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment on any amendments to funding of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised of the proposed amendment(s) to the funding of the City program(s) indicated below It It: 1. Discussion and Proposed Resolution authorizing the transfer of CDBG de-obligation funds in the amount of $1,000,000, to be transferred as shown below: Transfer Funds From: Rockwood Properties ($225,072); Lot Clearing/Demolition $ ($65,464); Commercial Facade ($470,323.73); Section 108 Debt Service ($239,140.27). Total $1,000,000. Transfer Funds To: City of Miami Capital Improvements Program ($1,000,000) for the reconstruction of the Littie Havana Community Center. Total $1,000,000. 2. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an amendment to the $2 million in CDBG contract for the Disaster Recovery Program between the City of Miami and Miarnl Dade County extending the contract expiration date to June 30, 2010. 3. Discussion and proposed resolution requesting approval for the sale of the City of Miami owned property located at 1436 Northwest 619 Street to Jessica Pinnock. The adoption of this Ordinance/Resolution, by the City Commission, authortzes the City Manager to amend the appropriate City of Miami annual Action Plan. t This amendment(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment ent period begins Tuesday, January 26, 2010 and ends Wednesday, February 24, 2010. The proposed amendments) will be presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, February 25, 2010 (public hearm). $ Draft copies will be available at the City of Miami Department of Community Development office located at 444 SW 2nd Avenue, 2nd floor, Miami, Florida, 33130.
