The nature of this item is to establish a term contract for the procurement of Road Service Tire
Repairs, with YlIada Tire Services, Inc. and Los Primos Tire Services, Inc., for an initial contractual
period of two (2) years with options for renewal for three (3) additional one (1) year periods, on a
citywide, as needed, when needed contractual basis, under IFB 199154. Allocating funds from the
various sources of funds from the user departments and agencies, authorizing said services as needed,
subject to availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need.
Background Information:
The City of Miami has a need to procure Road Service Tire Repairs, citywide. On December 4, 2009,
the Purchasing Department issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB No. 199154). As required by the
Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised and issued online. On December 23, 2009, at the bid
opening, seven (7) bids were submitted and are tabulated. The Purchasing Department is
recommending award to Yllada Tire Services, Inc. and Los Primos Tire Services, Inc., the two (2)
lowest responsive and responsible bidders per bid specifications. The estimated annual contract
amount is $50,780.
