Subject: Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Maintenance Agreement with the Florida
Department of Transportation for the maintenance of State Road 933/Northwest 12th Avenue from Northwest
Purpose of Item:
A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Maintenance Agreement with the Florida
Department of Transportation for the maintenance of State Road 933/Northwest 12th Avenue from
Northwest 7th Street to Northwest 15th Street Miami, Florida.
Background Information:
The Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT") has jurisdiction over State Road 933/NW 12th
Avenue from NW 7th Street to NW 15th Street. FDOT has drafted design plans for beautification
improvements on this roadway and the City has agreed to maintain these improvements in perpetuity.
Maintenance will be performed in-house by Public Works personnel, therefore the City will not incur
any additional costs.
