A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
OFFICIALLY ACCEPTING THE ATTACHED CITY CLERK'S CERTIFICATION OF
THE CANVASS AND DECLARATION OF THE RESULTS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
SPECIAL ELECTION HELD ON JANUARY 12, 2010, FOR THE ELECTION OF
COMMISSIONER DISTRICT 1 AND COMMISSIONER DISTRICT 5.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby officially accepts the attached City Clerk's Certification of the
Canvass and Declaration of Results of the City of Miami Special Election held on January 12, 2010,
for the election of Commissioner District 1 and Commissioner District 5.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
Footnotes:
sAcceptance of election results are administrative acts which do not require the Mayor's signature nor
the City Attorney's review and approval.
