From: Perez, Maria [maiito:MMPerez@ci.miami.fl.us] Sent: Monday, January 04, 2010 11:52 AM To: Rubert, Veronica (OCI) Cc: Blanco, Edward; Jackson, Robin Jones Subject: Backup needed for African Square City of Miami Legislation Importance: High Good Morning Veronica: Our Assistant City Attorney is asking for us to obtain some kind of document from your office confirming that we have received approval from the SNPB Oversight Board for the African Square Scope change. - While the SNPCOC approved the African Square scope change on December 16, 2009, approval from the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is required. In your email of 12/3/09 you informed me that the City's resolution approving .the scope change is expected to go to the City Board in March/April. Once we receive the City's reso, the SNP office can place the scope/ordinance change request on the BCC agenda. The 2005 amended contract is the only official document from my office to confirm approval. The contract can not be executed until the BCC approves the scope/ordinance change. Please keep in mind that until the amended contract is in place (contract expires 6/5/10), the County is under no obligation to reimburse the City. In addition, we would like to confirm the total number of Amendments executed for Series 05, so far. We have in our files 4,Series 05 Amendments but our attorney has found an e-mail back in April 09 referencing a 5th Amendment. - The total number of Amendments are 5 - The 5th Amendment was executed by your City Clerk on 5/11/09. Thank you for your assistance, and Happy New Year! Smppad Sew4w ea"& c7 x of -ta=i =i Jarxh aid J`enw .Deparfirreiri
