This Application is for a substantial modification to the Civica MUSP to move the footprint of the building greater than ten (10) feet in a horizontal direction. The plans include removal of liner units in the tower, a reduction in the number of parking spaces from 1,456 spaces to 1,150 spaces and the number of parking levels in the tower from 13 to 10, an increase to the number of habitable stories while keeping the same overall height of the tower, an addition of a public plaza to the first level of the tower thereby increasing the open space from 16,895 square feet to 22,675 square feet, a slight modification to the mix of retail and office uses, and a reduction to the overall footprint from 62,220 square feet to 56,440 square feet. The original Civica MUSP was approved by Resolution R-06-0736, adopted by the City of Miami Commission on December 14, 2006. The first substantial modification to the Civica MUSP was approved by Resolution R-09-0266, adopted by the City of Miami Commission on May 28, 2009.
