Chief City Page 1 of 1 AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY FORM CONTINUED Background Information: Pursuant to Resolution No. 09- , adopted December 3, 2009, the Miami City Commission approved the allocation of funds in the amount of $650,000 to the City of Miami Department of Code Enforcement and the amount of $427,888 to be allocated as follows: $379,888 to the City of Miami Department of Code Compliance Program; 16,000 each to Allapattah Business Development Authority, Camara de Commercio Latina de Los Estados Unidos ("CAMACOL" ), Inc. and Rafael Hernandez Housing and Economic Development Corp. for the implementation of the Commercial Code Compliance Program. The Miami City Commission also approved the shell contract, specifically Exhibit S -Work Program and Exhibit C — Compensation and Budget Summary. In order to include the activities for the correction of code compliance violations, the City of Miami Department of Community Development is amending Exhibit B — Work Program and Exhibit C — Compensation and Budget Summary of the Agreement. The Administration recommends amending the Agreement for the Commercial Fagade Agreement specifically Exhibit B — Work Program and Exhibit C - Compensation and Budget Summary to include the activities for the correction of code compliance violations.
