WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 09-0541, adopted December 10, 2009, the Miami
�.
Commission approved the allocation of funds in the amount of $650,000 to the City of Miami
Department of Code Enforcement and the amount of $427,888 to be allocated as follows: $379,888
to
the City of Miami Department of Code Compliance Program; $16,000 each to Allapattah Business
Development Authority, Camara de Comercio Latina de Los Estados Unidos Inc. and Rafael
Hernandez Housing and Economic Development Corp., for the implementation of the Commercial
Code Compliance Program; and
WHEREAS, the Miami City Commission also approved the shell contract, specifically "Exhibit
B -Work Program" and "Exhibit C- Compensation and Budget Summary" (collectively "the Exhibits");
and
WHEREAS, in order to include the activities for the correction of code compliance violations, it is
necessary for the City of Miami Department of Community Development to amend the Exhibits;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Exhibits of the City of Miami Commercial Fagade Agreement, are amended, to
include the activities for the correction of code compliance violations.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized(1 } to execute an Amendment, in substantially the
attached form, for said purpose.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.(2}
