HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislation-SUBA RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE SALARY AND COMPENSATION FOR MAYOR TOMAS P. REGALADO. WHEREAS, Section 4 of the City Charter of the City of Miami ("City") provides that the compensation for the Mayor shall be determined by the City Commission; and WHEREAS, Tomas P. Regalado was elected to the Office of Mayor and sworn into Office on November 11, 2009; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. Mayor Tomas P. Regalado shall be paid Ninety Seven Thousand dollars ($97,000.00) annually. Section 3. Mayor Tomas P. Regalado shall be provided all the benefits approved in the current City budget for the Office of the Mayor. Section 4. The herein salary and compensation shall be effective as of November 11, 2009. Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor. {1} APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: SUBMITTED INTO THE JULIE BRU CITY ATTORNEY Footnotes: PUBLIC RECORD FOR ITEM ON Wilo-o9 . {1 } If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
