Background Information: The Term "License" needs to be replaced by the current Term "Business Tax Receipt," per State Statute. Currently as outlined in Chapter 39, if a Street Vendor is in compliance with Section 39-32 through 39-43, the Finance Director may recommend to the Public Works Director that a Business Tax Receipt be issued--- it should be the other way around since it's the Finance Director that issues the Business Tax Receipt and not the Public Works Director. The changes to this Code Section reflect the wording of these responsibilities. Budget Impact Analysis NO Is this item related to revenue? NO Is this item an expenditure?
