Subject: 2009 Miami Metro Homeless Assistance Program South Special Project Amendment Approval
Purpose of Item:
It is respectfully recommended that the Honorable Mayor and the City Commission adopt the attached
amendment to resolution number R-09-0327 adopted on June 25, 2009, to include additional $6,609.00
administrative funds allowable by the contract and expend funds not to exceed $138,789.00 per year contract
between The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), through the Miami Dade
County Homeless Trust and the City of Miami Homeless Assistance Program to provide outreach, information,
referral, assessment and placement services to homeless individuals.
Background Information:
This original resolution was adopted on June 25, 2009 and original language excluded additional allowable
$6,609.00 administrative fund, capping the total to $132,180.
As stated on page two of the contract, the $132,180 amount funds Supportive Services and $6,609.00for
administration to total $138,789.00
