A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BIDS
RECEIVED AUGUST 6, 2009, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BIDS NO.
156128, FROM STEIN PAINT COMPANY (PRIMARY) AND SHERWIN WILLIAMS
(SECONDARY), FOR PAINT AND PAINT SUPPLIES, CITYWIDE, ON AN
AS -NEEDED BASIS, FOR AN INITIAL CONTRACT PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS,
WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR THREE (3) ADDITIONAL ONE (1) YEAR
PERIODS; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS
FROM THE USER DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES, SUBJECT TO THE
AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY APPROVAL, AT THE TIME OF
NEED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. The bids received August 6, 2009, pursuant to Invitation for Bids No. 156128, from
Stein Paint Company (Primary) and Sherwin Williams (Secondary), for Paint and Paint Supplies,
Citywide, on an as -needed basis, for an initial contract period of two (2) years, with the option to
renew for three (3) additional one (1) year periods, are accepted, with funds allocated funds from the
various sources of funds from the user departments and agencies, subject to the availability of funds
and budgetary approval at the time of need.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1} This Resolution shall become effective as specified herein unless vetoed by the Mayor within ten
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission or upon the effective date
stated herein, whichever is later.
