The Property is currently designated Industrial in the Miami Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan (the "Plan") and zoned Industrial I (the "Zoning District"). The Property is 5.115 acres in size and is the former MacArthur Dairy site. The Applicants wish to introduce mixed use opportunities at the site consisting of affordable housing and commercial office uses (the "Intended Use"). Although the City is in great need of affordable housing, such uses would not be otherwise permitted or accommodated under the current zoning designation.
