A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING THE AMENDED ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
OFF-STREET PARKING, IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,142,580, EXCLUDING
DEPRECIATION, ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, TO PROVIDE FOR THE
OPERATION OF THE GUSMAN CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS AND
THE OLYMPIA BUILDING, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1,
2008 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2009.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 8435, adopted July 31, 1975, the City Commission
authorized the City of Miami's Department of Off -Street Parking Board to administer the facility now
known as the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts and the Olympia Office Building; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts and the Olympia Office
Building Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2008-2009, be amended from an amount of $1,342,580 to
$2,142,580;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as is fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Department of Off -Street Parking's Amended Annual Budget, in the amount of
$2,142,580, excluding depreciation, attached and incorporated, to provide for the operation of the
Gusman Center for the Performing Arts and the Olympia Building, for the Fiscal Year commencing
October 1, 2008 and ending September 30, 2009, is approved.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar day
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
