Purpose of Item:
A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to establish an Affiliating Agreement between the City of
Miami, Department of Fire -Rescue, Miami Dade County Public Schools C TvMCPS') and Technical
Career Institute ("TCP').
Information:
Miami -Dade County Public Schools provides emergency medical services training programs for
students and periodically desires to provide students in such programs with clinical training
experience by utilizing appropriate facilities and personnel of the City Miami, Department of Fire -
Rescue and TCi.. The Programs they will experience "The City of Miami Fire -Rescue EMS Cadet
Program :and the EMS Cadet Scholarship initiative.
