HERNANDEZ Chief Procurement OfLcer City Manawer .J li � r4 r ADDENDUM NO. 1 IFB NO. 146110 June 17, 2009 Invitation For Bid (IFB) for Vehicle Decals and Striping TO: ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS: The following changes, additions, clarifications, and deletions amend the Bid Documents of the above captioned IFB, and shall become an integral part of the Contract Documents. Please note the contents herein and reflect same on the documents you have on hand. 01: Are pictures or drawings available for the items listed in this bid? Al: Yes. Please view pictures starting in page 3 of this addendum. Q2: Pursuant to Section 2.9, will the successful bidder be required to deliver all 100 line items in the quantities stated, within 48 hours? A2: It is highly unlikely that all 100 line items will be ordered at one time, however the successful bidder, if stipulated in the Purchase Order, will be required to deliver certain ordered items, regardless of the quantity, within forty eight (48) hours after receipt of purchase order. 03: Can the delivery time after receipt of Purchase Order be extended? A3: Pursuant to Section 2.9, the delivery time after receipt of Purchase Order can only be extended if "the delay is the result of an Act of God; war, civil commotion, strike or any other condition beyond the control of the Successful Bidder, and provided that advanced written notice of such delay is given via email to the Contract Administrator, in the Department of General Services Administration, including the estimated delivery time and reason for delay. Written approval must be provided by the Contract Administrator to the Successful Bidder." Q4: Will sample decals be available to the vendor awarded the contract? A4: Sample decals will not be available to the vendor awarded the contract as the City does not generally keep an inventory of these items in stock_ Q5: Are previous bid results available? A5: Yes, previous bid results are available. Please see enclosed Award Sheet for the current contract. l bidder only? A6: Pursuant to Section 1.48. "Within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award, the successful Contractor. shall furnish Evidence of Insurance to the Purchasing Department, if applicable. Submitted evidence of coverage shall demonstrate strict compliance to all requirements listed on the Special Conditions entitled "Insurance Requirements The City shall be listed as an Additional Insured." Bidders may submit Certificates of Insurance with their bid response; however, it is not a requirement at time of bid. Q7: Can item # 3.8) Police Seal, under Section 3, Specifications, be printed digitally? A7: The Police Seal can only be screen/thermal printed. Q8: Are the five stripes in item# 3.9), under Section 3, Specifications, printed on a piece of material or are they individual pin stripes?
