The Program Director will conduct bi-monthly 21St CCLC meetings with school administration, lead teachers and Community -Based Organizations. The Program Director will serve as the point person for the 2151 CCLC project, monitor and evaluate all aspects of the 21St CCLC program, will attend all 21St CCLC meetings, and gather and enter all 2155 CCLC program - related data, as well as, complete data reports. This position will also attend the statewide and national 2155 CCLC conferences. 5100 150 Salaries: Lead Teacher 0.33 16,484 Will oversee and supervise the implementation of each 21" CCLC component: after school, Saturday Academy, Winter and Summer breaks, and will align the 2151 CCLC curriculum with the school's instructional focus calendars used throughout the school year. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for the recruitment of both 21st CCLC students and staff. This position will also assist the Program Director with the collection, analysis and reporting of ongoing data pertaining to actively participating 2155 CCLC students. Hands-on science activities will be provided throughout the program year. 5100 310 Contracted Services: Arts for Learning 12,480 Will provide 26 weeks of arts, music, dance and drama programming for actively participating 21" CCLC students during the 21St CCLC afterschool program. 6300 510 Materials and Supplies 22,685 Consumable supplies for use exclusively by actively participating 21St CCLC students during 21St CCLC activities: to include paper, pencils, pens, folders, workbooks and writing journals - $1,740.00 Arts and Crafts materials for use exclusively by actively participating 21St CCLC students during 21St CCLC activities: to include poster boards, paints, paint brushes, crayons, markers, construction paper and glue - $1, 740.00 Supplemental Materials for use exclusively by actively participating 21St CCLC students during 21St CCLC activities: to be used in reading, mathematics, writing, science, physical fitness, nutrition and character education materials to enhance the curriculum. Smith, Commissioner 0 7800 332 Purchased Services: Admission Fees 16,000 To provide admission fees for a total of ten (10) field trips that will be planned throughout the program year to various locations. Costs will be solely for actively participating 21st CCLC students. Field trips will clearly support the approved goals and objectives of the 218L CCLC program, and all trips will be based upon established educational curriculum. All field trip expenditures will follow applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations governing field trips. Tickets will be purchased from educational centers of the field trip locations and will include the available educational components and lesson plans. Trips may include: Miami Seaquarium, Miami Science Museum, Metro Zoo, Fairchild Tropical Gardens and Miami Children's Museum to expose 2151 CCLC participating students to educational and cultural experiences. Parents of actively participating students may also attend as chaperones. 10 fieldtrips at an average rate of $1, 600.00 per fieldtrip for 185 students. 7800 332 Purchased Services: Bus Transportation (Field trips) 7,200 To provide transportation services to actively participating 21St CCLC students and chaperones/parents to attend educational and cultural field trips during the project year. 4 buses @ $180.00 x 10 fieldtrips = $7,200.00 6400 331 Out of County Travel 6,000 Provide an opportunity for three active 21St CCLC staff members to attend Professional Development training to include one 21St CCLC statewide conference and one national 2151 CCLC conference. Costs are estimated to include conference registration fee, travel, hotel and per diem.
