Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with
reasonable notice of, and an opportunity to comment on, any amendments to funding of HUD programs. In addition, the public is
advised of the discussion and proposed resolutions indicated below, originally advertised in ad number 17155 for the May 8,
2008 Miami City Commission meeting, should read as follows:
Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the extension of the agreement end term date, from September 30, 2006 to
September 30, 2009 with the City retaining the option to extend for an additional year, with Neighbors and Neighbors
Association, Inc., for the completion of the Oshun Village Project.
Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the conveyance of one (1) city owned property located at 1477 NW 60 Street,
Miami, Florida, to Palmetto Homes of Florida, Inc., for the development of affordable housing.
Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the conveyance of one (1) city owned property, referred to as Orchard Villa,
located at 1371 NW 61" Street, Miami, FL, to Miami's River of Life, Inc., for the development of a transitional independent living
facility for female youth aging out of Florida's foster Cares stems.
The adoption of this Ordinance/Resolutbri. by the City Commission, authorizes the City Manager to amend the appropriate City of Miami arcual Action Plan
