A
Pursuant to Section 55--1 (c) of the Miami City Code, the Planning Department
has reviewed the proposed public right-of-way vacation and closure to determine
whether it is in the public interest, or whether the general public would benefit
from the vacation of the right-of-way.
The following findings have been made:
It is found that this application was presented to the Flat and Street
Committee and the tentative Flat was approved with conditions. (See
attached analysis).
It is found that the vacation of the public right of ways will allow a unified site
for the existing "Miami Senior High School".
w It is found that one of these public rights of way do not exist as developed
roadway because the existing "Miami Senior High School" is built and fully
occupy the described right of way.

55-15 (c) of the Miami City Code for public benefit since the proposal will not
affect the core service activities and will enable expanding the existing "Miami
Senior High School", creating opportunities for fewer students per classroom
and better facilities for the students.
