("Daystar") for Legistar Software Support and Associated Maintenance Support Services Purpose of Item: Authorize the City Manager, to negotiate and execute an agreement with Daystar for the software and associated maintenance support services related to the Legistar System used by the Clerk's Office for four years, at an annual cost of $24,629.00, subject to annual increases in an amount not to exceed three percent (3%) for each fiscal year, at a proposed annual cost of $24,629.00 for Fiscal Year 2009- 2010; not to exceed $30,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2010-2011; not to exceed $35,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2011-2012; and not to exceed $40,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2012-2013. Background Information: jPursuant to Resolution No. 01-595 adopted June 14, 2001, the City Commission selected Daystar to provide the comprehensive legislative information and research system known as the Legistar System to the City and authorized the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement to purchase the a Legistar System from Daystar and for associated maintenance support services. Thereafter, the qty Commission adopted Resolution No. 05-0288 on May 12, 2005, that authorized additional system upgrades and associated maintenance support services for the Legistar System through Fiscal Year 2008-2009 with Daystar.
