JUSTIFICATION:
The Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange Program (GILEE) is an award-winning
program that relies on financial support from private sources and from law enforcement agencies,
as well as technical and logistical support from public organizations, civic associations and
government sources.
HOW IS THIS ITEM GOING TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF SERVICE TO THE
CUSTOMER / CITIZENS?
The GILEE program has carried out 121 programs for 539 law enforcement executives from
around the nation and the world. GILEE has also provided 27 special briefings, seminars
workshops and conferences on issues related to homeland security and public safety for law
enforcement officials. -
