A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE
WAIVER OF THE FACILITY RENTAL FEE, IN THE AMOUNT OF $500, FOR THE
USE OF THE MIAMI ROWING CLUB, ON FRIDAY, MAY 8, 2009, FOR THE
"FRIENDS OF MARINE STADIUM", TO HAVE A SYMPOSIUM WITH STUDENTS
FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE DISTRICT
4 SPECIAL EVENTS BUDGET, ACCOUNT NO.00001.980000.882000.0000.0000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The waiver of the facility rental fee, in the amount of $500, for the use of the Miami
Rowing Club, on Friday, May 8, 2009, for the "Friends of Marine Stadium", to have a symposium with
the students from the University of Miami, is authorized, with funds allocated from the District 4 Special
Events Budget, Account No. 00001.980000.882000.0000.0000.
Section. 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1 } If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
