A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
GRANTING AN EXTENSION, UNTIL JULY 1, 2007, TO MIAMI DREAM HOMES
INVESTMENT GROUP, INC. (MIAMI DREAM HOMES) TO START
CONSTRUCTION ON AT LEAST ONE OF THE PARCELS OF LAND, LISTED IN
EXHIBIT "A", ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED; FURTHER AUTHORIZING,
DIRECTING AND CONFIRMING THE REVERSION OF ONE VACANT PARCEL OF
LAND LOCATED AT 1477 NW 60 STREET, MIAMI FLORIDA, DESCRIBED IN
EXHIBIT "B," ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, TO THE CITY OF MIAMI, WITH
SAID TERMS AS DESCRIBED HEREIN; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENT(S) FOR SAID PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 06-0329, adopted May 25, 2006, the City Commission
approved one parcel (located at 1525 NW 60 street) to be developed as a new construction multi-
family rental project consisting of seven (7) units for low income persons and five parcels for single
family; and
WHEREAS, on July 5, 2006, the City of Miami conveyed the properties, through a corrective quit
claim deed, to Miami Dream Homes Investment Group, Inc; and
WHEREAS, due to the delay in obtaining permits from the Department of Water and Sewer
Authority and Department of Environmental Resource Management, Miami Dream Homes was unable
to start construction as required in the quit claim deed ; and
WHEREAS, the Administration recommends extending the start construction date to July 1 2007
to at lease one of the parcels of land, listed in Exhibit "A", and also recommends reverting back to the
City of Miami one vacant parcel of land located at 1477 NW 60 Street Miami, Florida , as described in
Exhibit "B", previously conveyed to Miami Dream Homes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA;
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. An extension to July 1, 2007, for Miami Dream Homes Investment Group, Inc. to start
construction on at least one of the parcels of land, listed in Exhibit "A", attached and incorporated, is
authorized.
Section 3. Authorizing, directing and confirming the reversion of one vacant parcel of land located
at 1477 NW 60 Street Miami, Florida, described in Exhibit "B", attached and incorporated, to the City
of Miami, is authorized.

Section 4. The City Manager is authorized (11 to execute all necessary documents for said
purpose.
Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.(2)

(1) The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed
by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code
provisions.
(2) If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission,
