A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF AMMUNITION AND OFFICERS' EQUIPMENT, FROM VARIOUS
VENDORS, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACTUAL BASIS, UTILIZING STATE OF
FLORIDA CONTRACT NO. 680-050-09-1, EFFECTIVE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 29,
2009, SUBJECT TO FURTHER EXTENSIONS AND/OR REPLACEMENT
CONTRACTS BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE
VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS FROM THE USER DEPARTMENTS AND
AGENCIES, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY
APPROVAL AT TIME OF NEED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The purchase of Ammunition and Officers' Equipment, from various vendors, on an
as -needed contractual basis, utilizing State of Florida Contract No. 680-050-09-1, effective until
September 29, 2009, subject to further extensions and/or replacement contracts by the State of
Florida, is authorized, with funds allocated from the various sources of funds from the user
departments and agencies, subject to the availability of funds and budget approval at time of need.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption and signature of the
Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
