Background Information: On January 20, 2009, the Office of the City Clerk received formal bid #08-09-009 for the project entitled "District 3 — Sidewalk Repair, Project I." A total of nine (9) prospective bidders picked up specifications and five (5) contractors submitted bids. Envirowaste Services Group, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $93,950.10. Funds are allocated from Capital Improvements Account No. 341330. The contract is for a period of up to one (1) year in an amount not to exceed $93,950.10, with four (4) options to renew, for a term of up to one (1) year each, in an amount not to exceed $93,950.10, per term, subject to the availability of funding and contractor's performance.
