Background Information: On January 13, 2009, the Office of the City Clerk received formal bid #08-09-007 for the project entitled "District 2 — Sidewalk Repair, Project I." A total of seven (7) prospective bidders picked up specifications and two (2) contractors submitted bids. Envirowaste Services Group, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $58,102.00. Funds are allocated from Capital Improvements Account No. 341330. The contract is for a period of up to one (1) year in an amount not to exceed $58,102.00, with four (4) options to renew, for a term of up to one (1) year each, in an amount not to exceed $58,102.00, per term, subject to the availability of funding and contractor's performance.
