Identificatidn Technician II) Forensic Investigations Supervisors (Job Code 5027 — AKA Identification Technician Services Supervisor) The Memor of Understanding is entered into this day of , 20 tween the City of Miami ("City") and American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO, Local 1907 (AFSCME, Local 1907) {jointly "the Parties") to remove pre -steps for Crime Scene Investigators I and to provide a certification supplement for Crime Scene Investigators I, Crime Scene Investigators II, and Forensic Investigations Supervisor. Removal from Pre -Steps WHEREAS, by Memorandum of Understanding dated January 14, 2000 between the Parties, Tier I and Tier II salary ranges were adjusted to pre -steps and eliminated, respectively, including placing Crime Scene Investigators I in pre -steps; NOW THEREFORE, the Parties agree to remove the Crime Scene Investigator I classification from the pre -step; Certification Supplement WHEREAS, Article 25 (Pay Supplements) of the 2007-2010 collective- bargaining -agreement between the Parties provides, in pertinent part, as follows: "Employees shall receive no additional pay supplements except as are specifically provided by this Agreement..." NOW THEREFORE, the Parties agree to provide for a 5% pay supplement for Crime Scene Investigators I, Crime Scene Investigators II, and Forensic Investigations Supervisor who: (1) Complete a 40 -hour course and obtained a Certificate in one of the following: (a) Crime Scene Investigation I, or (b) Crime Scene Investigation II, or (c) Crime Scene Reconstruction, or (d) Basic or Digital Photography; and (2) Is fully capable of conducting field work and answering calls for service. NOW THEREFORE, the Parties agree that this MOU shall become effective the first full pay period following ratification by the City Commission.
