This letter shall serve as the Applicant's initial letter of intent. The Applicant is requesting a Major Use Special Permit for a mixed-use project as more specifically described in the enclosed application and project description. The Applicant is also requesting a redesignation of the property from Medium Density Multifamily Residential to Restricted Commercial on the Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan, and a rezoning from R-3 Multifamily Medium -Density Residential to C -1 Restricted Commercial, with an SD -25 SW 8t1, Street Overlay District. These approvals are .necessary in order to develop the property in accordance with the enclosed plans for La Quinta y La Ocho.
