Background Information: The Purchasing Department has identified a need to establish a contract for Guardrail Installation and Repair. This service will replace guardrails damaged by cars, replacement of defective or corroded guardrails, and installation of new guardrails in areas that are lacking. On December 5, 2008, the Purchasing Department issued Invitation to -Bid No. 108075. As required by the Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised and issued on-line. Bids were due and two (2) bids were received on December 29, 2008. Fence Masters, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid and is therefore recommended for award.
