Background Information: This resolution will authorize the use of the City of Boynton Beach Contract No. 042-2510-08/CJD for the purchase of Mobile Refuse Containers for Automated Garbage Collection Program, on a citywide, as needed, when needed contractual basis, subject to any extensions and/or replacements contracts by the City of Boynton Beach. Solid Waste has a need to replenish its 95 -gallon injection molded refuse containers used in the City's residential automated garbage collection program and for collection of garbage generated at special events. Additionally, these containers will be used for new residents moving into the city and replacement requests for damaged containers. The estimated annual contract amount is $75,000.00.
