Please be informed. that we have obtained the permits for
developing; one of the above mentioned twin -homes; the gemeral
contractor have been selected — is in the process of obtaining the
performance bond-, and the private bank (Eurobank) consttuction
loan is pending approval by its lawyer (commitment fee paid) .
As you are aware, the financial market problems for housing loans,
prudent house buyers, difficulties in obtaining qualification of
homebuyers by banks, and the economy in general is in difficult
times: therefore, in consideration of these facts, plus the amount of
the loan from the City will be less than $ 93,800 per lot to be
developed. and ABDA"s limited availability of funds, we have
decided to develop one lot at a time- ,As soon, as we complete
building and selling one twin -home, we will proceed with the
next. At the present, we have identified potential buyers forlthe
first twin -homes.
We are sure that you, your department head, the loan committee
and the City in general, will agree with this decision based on the
arguments presented previously.
