Subject: A Resolution authorizing a nine (9) level pedestrian overpass over and across the 15 -foot
public alley located 160 feet south of Bird Road between Southwest 38th Court and Southwest 38th
Avenue.
Purpose of Item:
It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution authorizing a
nine (9) level pedestrian overpass over and across the 15 -foot public alley located 160 feet south of
Bird Road between Southwest 38th Court and Southwest 38th Avenue.
Background Information:
3031 Investment Corporation owners of the professional building and a parking garage located at
3850 Bird Road request authorization- for the pedestrian overpass over the public alley connecting
nine (9) floors of the professional building and the parking garage. The pedestrian overpass
connection allows visitors to utilize the parking garage and visit the professional building without
exiting onto the public alley.
