NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of Commissioners ("Board") of the Southeast Overtown/
Park West Community Redevelopment Agency ("SEOPW CRA') will
hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. or
anytime thereafter in the City Commission chambers located at Miami
City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133. The Board will
consider the allocation of funding to Mt. Zion Developments, Inc.,
to underwrite costs associated with the A/C system and cooling tower
replacement ("Purpose") at The Historic Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist
Church located at 301 N.W. 9th Street, Miami, Florida, 33136.
In accordance with the SEOPW CRA 2018 Redevelopment Plan Update
("Plan") and Florida Statutes 163, the Board will consider the allocation
of funding, in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Three Thousand,
Seven Hundred Dollars and No Cents ($203,700.00) for the Purpose
stated above.

This action is being considered pursuant to Sections 18-85 (a) of
the Code of the City of Miami, Florida as amended ("Code"). The
recommendation and findings to be considered in this matter are set
forth in the proposed resolution and in Code Sections 18-85 (a), which
are deemed to be incorporated by reference herein, and are available as
with the scheduled SEOPW CRA Board meeting on Thursday, January
25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. or anytime thereafter in the City Commission
chambers located at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami,
Florida 33133.
All comments and questions with respect to the meeting and remote public
participation should be addressed to James McQueen, Executive Director,

Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the Board with respect
to any matter considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a
verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and
evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
