MIAMI CITY HALL 3500 Pan American Dr, Miami FL 33133 Federal regulations governing CDBG, and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised of the new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the city program(s) as indicated below: * t 1. Discuss and proposed resolution allocating program income from Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") funds generated from August 1, 2023, to September 30, 2023, in the amount of $110,563.90 for eligible housing and economic development activities, as specified below as Agencies/Department Description of Services CDBG Program Income Funding Department of Housing and Community Development Program Administration FY:2022- 23 $22,112.78 Public Services Activities Eligible Activities for FY:2023-24 $16,584.58 Department of Housing and Community Development Eligible CDBG activities/to be allocated $71,866.54 Total CDBG Program Income $110,563.90 2. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation, from Swire Properties One Brickell City ("SWIRE OBCC"), in the total amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00), with a Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) going to a development in each district; as more particularly specified below, with affordable housing development projects. Discuss and proposed resolution approving the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development's Affordable Housing Incentive Strategies ("Strategies") as recommended by the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee ("AHAC") and as required by Section 420.9076, Florida Statutes. 5. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") administration, Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids ("HOPWA") program delivery, Home Investment Partnerships ("HOME") administration funds to Sunshine for All, Inc., for each of the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 fiscal years as specified below, subject to the availability of funding to provide Housing Quality Standard Inspection Services for the City of Miami's Multifamily Affordability Housing and First Time Homebuyer program. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, and ends on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 14 NE 1 Avenue, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33132 (HCD Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted to: nancyromani@miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than December 11, 2023. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped.
