Background of Item: The Department of Resilience and Public Works, through its continued efforts to secure dedications of needed public right-of-way for widening of City streets, has received one (1) Right -of -Way Deed of dedication proffered by a single entity pursuant to Section 54- 58 of the City Code. The Department has reviewed the deed and received legal counsel concerning said Resolution, and has determined that it is now in order for acceptance by the City Comm ission. WHEREAS, the City of Miami's ("City") Department of Resilience and Public Works ("Department") recommends the acceptance of one (1) Right -of -Way Deed of Dedication ("Deed") for the property described in "Exhibit A," attached and incorporated; and WHEREAS, the Department finds it is in the best interest of the City to accept the Deed pursuant to Section 54-58 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The City Manager is authorized' and directed to accept the Deed for the property described in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated, for right-of-way purposes. Section 3. The City Commission authorizes the recordation of the Deed in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida. Section 4. The City Clerk is directed to retain a copy of the Deed. Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
