❑ During the pandemic Wynwood was conducting 30% of the parking transactions during the lockdown, while the rest of the city's
neighborhoods collected under 9%.
❑ During the pandemic there were only two neighborhoods in the world that continued services once the lockdown opened, was Singapore and
Wynwood Miami, due to the droves of visitors enjoying the open space atmosphere.
❑ The Wynwood BID was the first neighborhood in Miami to implement outdoor cafe's to allow our merchants to survive during the lockdown.
We also paid for the barriers and branding on barricades for one entire year.
❑ The Wynwood BID was the first neighborhood to install LED boards on sidewalks to assist the visitors of our 50-block district.
❑ The Wynwood BID is now the first BID in SE Florida to donate $3.5 million dollars towards affordable/workforce housing for Wynwood Works,
in tandem with the City of Miami housing department. We give back.
