RE: Letter of Support related to PZ-22-15088: 3030 SW 22 Street RE -Zoning Application
Dear City of Miami Commissioners:
I, Jose J. Blanco, live in the condominium located at 3000 Coral Way. The owner of 3030 SW
22 Street, Bomart Real Estate LLC, reached out to me to explain the proposed rezoning request.
As an immediate neighbor, I support the proposed rezoning request.
I understand that approval of the rezoning request will increase T5-O portion of the property and
will keep a portion fronting the residential neighborhood zoned T4-O. With this zoning, Bomart
Real Estate can build a modest office building fronting Coral Way, internal parking, and
townhomes fronting the residential neighborhood. This will match the development pattern of
my building, immediately abutting on the east. I support their efforts to improve the walkability
of the neighborhood, introduce more neighborhood serving uses, and provide a zoning buffer
within their property.
Based on the foregoing, I fully support the proposed rezoning and ask the City to approve the
request.
