INTRODUCTION
The City of Miami, herein referred to as the City, requires the below listed duties for landscaping
maintenance services to the Miami River Greenway at specified City rights -of -ways:
North Shore:
• SE 2 AVE to 30 SE 4 ST
• I-95 to SW 2 AVE
• I-95 to NW 4 ST
• NW 4 ST to NW 5 ST
• NW5STtoSW7STRD
• NW 7 ST RD to NW 12 AVE
South Shore:
• Brickell AVE to SW 1 CT
• SW 2 AVE to I-95
• W Flagler to SW 2 ST
• W Flagler to NW 7 AVE Bridge
• NW 4 ST to NW 7 ST
• NW South River DR to NW 12 AVE
The City reserves the right to add or delete locations as needed.
L $ERVICES COVERED
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, machinery, tools, modes of transportation, debris disposal,
supplies, equipment, materials, diesel fuel and services necessary to perform the complete landscaping
maintenance of the Miami River Greenway at specified City rights -of -ways. Complete landscaping
maintenance service includes, but is not limited to the following:
1. Mowing, weeding, edging, pruning, raking, blowing and mulching;
2. Removal of leaves, broken tree limbs, and palm fronds up to 8 ft;
3. Removal of undesirable and invasive exotic plant materials;
4. Removal and disposal of litter within the Miami River Greenway at specified City rights -of -ways;
5. Pressure washing
Litter Removal Services
Weekly Litter Removal: Removal of all debris including but not limited to cups, paper, trash, bags,
bottles, feces, needles and palm fronds, within the Miami River Greenway at specified City rights -of -
ways.
Pressure Cleaning
Pressure Cleaning: Pressure cleaning of all sidewalks along the Miami River Greenway at
specified City rights -of -ways.
Contractor shall coordinate with the City of Miami Departments of Police and Human Services on an
as needed basis.
II FREQUENCY OF SERVICE
Landscaping maintenance services shall be executed on a bi-weekly basis. Contractor shall
provide a monthly schedule in coordination with the City Inspector.
Litter removal and disposal shall be executed on a weekly basis. All itter removal shall occur on the
same day. Shrub and tree planting are on an as needed basis.
Pressuring washing shall be executed twice a year.
Note: Contractor shall ensure that the proper number of employees are deployed for contract
services. City reserves the right to require the Contractor to add additional teams in order to
comply with the frequency and quality required.
III INSPECTION PROCESS
Once services are completed, the Contractor shall take time -and -date -stamped pictures to submit with
any invoices. In addition, the Contractor, on a bi-weekly basis, shall inform the City's Project Manager
when an entire service
area is completed. The City will inspect the work to determine whether it meets the satisfaction of the
City, in its sole and absolute discretion. Contractor shall correct any nonconforming work within seven
(7) calendar days upon notification by the City. The City will not be liable to pay for uncorrected
nonconforming work.
j INVOICING
The Contractor shall provide invoices with time -and -date -stamped pictures no later than the 5th of the
month for the previous month's services. Submitting invoices later than the specified date may cause
delays in payment. On the invoice the Contractor shall provide:
A. Dates of services
B. Areas of services
C. Contract number (Contract No. x:XXX)
D. List of services completed
E. Pricing
F. Payment to subcontractors and/or suppliers with corresponding release of liens forms and
affidavits if applicable
All items shall be listed at contract pricing. Special projects are priced on an as needed basis and can
be invoiced separately for clarity in the same manner as regular services.
