HomeMy WebLinkAboutExhibit BEXHIBIT B Little Haiti Revitalization Trust Master Plan for FY2023-2024 Approved by the Little Haiti Revitalization Trust on August XX, 2023 Background: The ordinance establishing the Little Haiti Revitalization Trust at Section 12.5-49(c) requires the submission of a master plan reflecting the proposed operations, activities, and improvements of the revitalization initiative for the forthcoming fiscal year in conjunction with the submission of a budget to the City Commission for approval. This master plan is being submitted in fulfillment of this requirement. Operations: The budget represents a 12-month operational expenses including staffing and programming. The Trust will operate from the Little Haiti Cultural Center and conduct board meetings as required. Activities: 1. Create and implement programs for the following: a. Small Business Grant b. First Time Homebuyers Program c. Home Rehabilitation Program 2. Produce an operational plan: The CEO with the support of the Trust board will establish standard operating procedures establishing the organizational policies of the Trust. 3. Master Plan: The Trust will engage with a consultant firm to create a masterplan to guide the activities of the Trust in Little Haiti for a 10-year period. 4. Affordable Housing: The Trust will identify opportunities to support affordable housing projects in Little Haiti. 5. Organizational Development. The Trust will conduct strategic activities to promote economic development and revitalization efforts within Little Haiti.
