A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES
A DEED OF DEDICATION FROM 5300 BAR AND FACICACE,
INC,, CONVEYING A 5-FOOT STRIP OF ZONED STREET
RIGHT-OF-WAY ABUTTING 5300 N.W. 2 AVENUE,
WHEREAS, the City of Miami needed a 5-foot strip of
zoned street right-of-way abutting 5300 N,W. 2nd Avenue for
highway purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami did request the owner of
the subject property to dedicate said 5-foot strip of zoned
street right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, said owner did execute and deliver a recordable
deed to the City conveying same, which is now in order for
acceptance by the Commission of the City of Miami, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The May 19, 1978 deed from 5300 Bar and
Package, Inc. conveying to the City of Miami for highway purposes,
the west 5-feet of the East 10-feet of the South 29-feet of Lot 24,
and of the North 14.44 feet of Lot 25, and of the South 43-feet of
Lot 25, all in Block 12, of Railway Shops Addition according to the
plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 3, at Page 183, of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, be, and the same is hereby
accepted.

Please place on the July 13, 1978 agenda a resolution accepting a
deed of dedication for highway purposes conveying to the City of
Miami a 5-foot strip of reserved zoned street right of way abutting
5300 N.W. 2 Avenue.
Pertinent Information
The 5300 Bar and Package, Inc., submitted plans to operate a bar and
lounge at 5300 N.W. 2 Avenue providing for 14 off-street parking
spaces where 19 spaces are required.
In exchange for a variance permitting this use, the petitioning owner
was requested to dedicate for highway purposes, the remaining 5-feet
of reserved zoned street right of way abutting said property on
N.W. 2 Avenue, comprising a total of 432 square feet.

acceptance by the City Commission.

FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES THE WEST 5-FEET OF THE EAST 10=FEET OF THE
SOUTH 29-FEET OF LOT 24, AND OF THE NORTH 14.44-FEET OF LOT 25,
AND OF THE SOUTH 43-FEET OF LOT 25, ALL IN BLOCK 12, OF
RAILWAY SHOPS ADDITION (3-183).

Between 5300 Bar and Package, inc., existing under the laws of the
State of Florida, having its principal place of business in the County
of Dade and State of Florida, party of the first part, and THE CITY
OP MIAMI,' a Municipal Corporation, a corporation existing under the
laws of the State of Florida, having its principal place of business
in the County of Dade and State of Florida, and lawfully authorized
to transact business in the County of Dade and State of Florida;
party of the second part.
WITNESSETH: That the said party of the first part, for and
in consideration of the sum of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) and other good and
valuable considerations to it in hand paid by the said party of the
second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted,
bargained and sold to the said party of the second part, its successors
and assigns forever, the following described land situated, lying and
being in the County of Dade and State of Florida, to -wit:
The West 5-feet of the East 10-feet of the South
29-feet of Lot 24, and of the North 14.44-feet
of Lot 25, and of the South 43-feet of Lot 25,
all in Block 12, of Railway Shops Addition accord-
ing to the plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 3,

Containing approximately 432 square feet.
And the said party of the first part does hereby fully warrant the
title to said land, and will defend the same against the lawful claims
of all persons whomsoever.
