HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-78-0524■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ G/s 6/26/78 RESOLUTION NO. 8 524 A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION, AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE XXI-2, SECTION 3 (1-2) TO CONSTRUCT AND OPERATE A FIRE STATION ON LOTS 3 THRU 8 AND 15 THRU 18, BLOCK 5; INGLEWOOD GARDENS (13-7BEING CAPPROXIMATELY T05BE1REZONED2ND GU STREET, ZONED R-3 (GOVERNMENTAL USE). WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its meeting of June 7, 1978, Item No. 1(b), following an advertised hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAB 26-78 by a 5 to 0 vote (three members absent), recommending approval as per Ordinance No. 6871, Article XXI-2, Section 3 (1-2), for permission as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, this Commission deems it advisable in the interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami to grant this permission requested on the ground that a refusal would result in practical difficulties and unnecessary hardship to the applicant under R-3 and C-4 Districts; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the application for permission, as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XXI-2, Section 3 (1-2), to construct and operate a fire station on Lots 3 thru 8 and 15 thru 18, Block 5; INGLEWOOD GARDENS (13-57), being approximately 45-91 N.E. 62nd Street; zoned R-3 and C-4, proposed to be rezoned GU (Governmental Use), be and the same is hereby granted. ALVAREZ DEPUTY CITY ATTORNF_ A RRECTNESS MAY O R ,, CITY COMMISSION MEETING OF RI l 1.73 RtxouuTrntow.7..$, -. 5 2 REMARKS: lf ORDINANCE NO, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6871, THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OP MIAMI, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF LOTS 3 THRU 8 AND 15 THRU 18, BLOCK 5; INGLEWOOD GARDENS (13-57), BEING APPROXIMATELY 45-91 N.E. 62ND STREET, FROM R-3 (LOW DENSITY MULTIPLE) AND C-4 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) TO GU (GOVERNMENTAL USE), AND BY MAKING THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP, MADE A PART OF THE SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871, BY REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III, SECTION 2 THEREOF; BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT, AND CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY PROVISION. WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board,at its meeting of June 7, 1978, Item No. 1(a), following an advertised hearing, adopted Resolution NO. PAB 25-78 by a 5 to 0 vote (3 members absent) recommending changing the zoning classification as hereinafter set forth; and 00,o1 WHEREAS, the City Commission after careful consideration of this matter deems it advisable and in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant a change of zoning classification as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami be, and the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning classification of Lots 3 thru 8 and 15 thru 18, Block 5; INGLEWOOD GARDENS (13-57), being approximately 45-91 N.E. 62nd Street, from R-3 (Low Density Multiple) and C-4 (General Commercial to GU (Governmental Use), and by i changes in the zoning district map made a pa: No, 6871 by reference and description in Art. thereof.
