IN ThE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $41,790.00 FOR THE MODEL CITIES CCMi...ITY DEVELOPMENT STREET IMPROVEMENTS PHASE V (2ND BIDDING), BID "C" (LANDSCAPING) ALLOCATING SAID AMOUNT FROM THE 3RD & ' 4111i YEAR iEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $41,790.00 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $4,596.00 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSES; ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $835.00 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES AND POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CON1RACT WITH SAID FIRM WHEREAS, sealed bids were received July 18, 1978 for MODEL CITIES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT STREET IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE V (2ND BIDDING) BID "C" (LANDSCAPING); and UHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $41,790.00 bid of TAMIAMI CONSULTANTS, INC. dba/TAMIAMI PLANT SYSTEMS, INC. is the lowest responsible bid for Bid "C" (Landscaping) of the Proposaland recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds for this project are available from the 3rd & 4th Year Federal Community Development Block Grant Fund; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FFSOLVED BY The COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The July 18, 1978 bid of TAMIAMI CONSULTANTS, INC. dba/TAMIAMI PLANT SYSTEMS, INC. in the proposed amount of $41,790.00 for the project entitled MODEL CIT.Lt.S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT STREET IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE V (2ND BIDDING) BID "C" (LANDSCAPING), namely Bid "C" (Landscaping) of the Proposal, is hereby accepted at the price stated therein. Section 2. The amount of $41,790.00 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the account entitled 3rd & 4th Year Federal Community Development Block Grant Fund to cover the cost of said contract. Section 3. The amount of $4,596.00 is hereby allocated from the aforesaid Fund to cover the cost of Project Expense. Section 4.
