Home My WebLink AboutR-78-0490for RESOLUTION NOt 7 8" 4 9 0 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF ANAR CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $27,400 FOR THE CENTRAL MINI- PARK COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT; ALLOCATING SAID AMOUNT FROM THE 1ST YEAR FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK (GRANT FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $27,400 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $3,014 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $548 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES, AND POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM WHEREAS, sealed bids were received July 14, 1978 CENTRAL MINI -PARK - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $27,400 bid of Anar Construction Corporation is the lowest respon- sible bid and recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds for this project are available from the 1st Year Federal Community Development Block Grant Fund; NOW, TIiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The July 14, 1978 bid of Anar Con- struction Corporation in the proposed amount of $27,400 for the project entitled CENTRAL MINI -PARK - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, namely the Base Bid of the Proposal, is hereby accepted at the price stated therein. Section 2. The amount of $27,400 is hereby allocated from the 1st Year Federal Community Development Block Grant Fund to cover the cost of said contract. "DOCUMENT INDEX Section 3. All bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and Specifications. Plans and Specifications may be obtained from the Office of the Director, Department of Public Works, 3332 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida. Plans and Specifications are to be returned in good condition and unmarked within 10 days after bids have been received.
