ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6871, THE
G'OMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF
MIAMI, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF
NORTHERLY 1/2 OF 20' PUBLIC ALLEY (PROPOSED TO
BE VACATED) LYING NORTHERLY OF LOTS 9 AND 10,
BLOCK 3, WHITEHEAD AND BLAIR SUB (44-78) , BEING
APPROXIMATELY 4101 N.W. 7TH STREET, FROM R-1.
(ONE FAMILY DWELLING) TO GU (GOVERNMENTAL USE) ,
AND BY MAKING THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING
DISTRICT MAP, MADE A PART OF THE SAID ORDINANCE
NO. 6871, BY REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE
III, SECTION 2 THEREOF; BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES,
CODE SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT, AND
CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY PROVISION.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its meeting
f Tuly 19, 1978, Item No. 1(a), following an advertised hear
ing adopted Resolution No. PAB 39-78 by a 4 to 0 vote (4
members absent) recommending change of zoning classification
as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after careful consideration
of this matter, deems it advisable and in the best interest of
the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants
to grant a change of zoning classification as hereinafter set
forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Ordinance for the City of Miami he, and the same is hereby amended
by changing the zoning classification of Northerly 1/2 of 20'
public alley (proposed to be vacated) lying northerly of Lots
9 and 10, Block 3, WHITEHEAD AND BLAIR SUB (44-78), being approxi-
mately 4101 N.W. 7th Street, from R-1 (One Family Dwelling) to
• GU (Governmental Use), and by making the necessary changes in

Section 3. Should any part or provision of this Ordinance
be declared by a court of competent .jurisdiction to he invalid
the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a
whole.
