A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO CONSTRUCT AND
OPERATE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES PURSUANT TO
ARTICLE XVIII-I, PUBLIC PARK AND RECREATIONAL USE -
PR DISTRICT, SECTION 4 (1-3) ON LOTS 7 THROUGH 10
AND 21 THROUGH 25, BLOCK 16, RAILWAY SHOPS ADD 2ND
AMENDED (3-183), BEING APPROXIMATELY 5200 N.W.
2ND AVENUE, ZONED R-2 (TWO FAMILY DWELLING) AND C-2
(COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL) PROPOSED TO BE REZONED TO PR
(PUBLIC PARK AND RECREATIONAL USE DISTRICT).
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its meeting o
July 12, 1978, Item No. 1(b), following an advertised Hearing,
adopted Resolution No. PAB 31-78 by a 5 to 0 vote (3 members absent)
recommending granting permission to construct and operate recreational
facilities as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after careful consideration and
due deliberation of this matter, deems it advisable and in the best
interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its
inhabitants to grant said permission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: "DOCUMENT

PR DISTRICT, Section 4 (1-3) on Lots 7 through 10 and 21 through 25,
Block 16, RAILWAY SHOPS ADD 2nd AMENDED (3-183), being approximately
5200 N.W. 2nd Avenue, zoned R-2 (Two Family Dwelling) and C-2
( Community Commercial) proposed to be rezoned to PR (Public Park and
Recreational Use District), be and the same is hereby granted.

AN ORIINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6871, 'THE t
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF
MIAMI, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF
LOTS 7 THROUGH 10 AND 21 THROUGH 25, BLOCK 16,
RAILWAY SHOPS ADD 2nd AMENDED (3-183), BEING
APPROXIMATELY 5200 N.W. 2ND AVENUE, FROM R-2 (TWO
FAMILY DWELLING AND C-2 (COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL) TO
PR (PUBLIC PARK AND RECREATIONAL USE DISTRICT),
AND BY MAKING THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING
DISTRICT MAP, MADE A PART OF THE SAID ORDINANCE
NO. 6871, BY REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III,
SECTION 2 THEREOF; BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE
SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT, AND CONTAIN-
ING A SEVERABILITY PROVISION.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its meeting of
July 12, 1978, Item No. 1(a), following an advertised hearing, adopted
Resolution No. PAB 30-78 by a 5 to 0 vote (3 members absent) recommend-
ing changing the zoning classification as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after careful consideration of this
matter deems it advisable and in the best interest of the general
welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant a
change of zoning classification as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF ``THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA: 00 .223
Section 1. Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
for the City of Miami be, and the same is hereby amended by changing
the zoning classification of Lots 7 through 10 and 21 through 25,
Block 16, RAILWAY SHOPS ADD 2nd AMENDED (30183), being approximately
5200 N.W. 2nd Avenue, from R-2 (Two Family Dwelling) and C-2 (Community
Commercial) to PR (Public Park and Recreational Use District), and by
making the necessary changes in the zoning district map made a part
of the said Ordinance No. 6871 by reference and description in Article 111,
Section 2 thereof.

geetion 2. That all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed insofar as they are iti conflict.
Section 3. Should any part or provision of this Ordinance
be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole.
