ENCLC3tJ3 .•• 11� 11f� September 14, 1978 "` 5450 Resolution Ordering Pines Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-5450-C (Centerline Sewer) and SR-5450-S (Sideline Sewer) (for September 28, 1978 Commission Meeting) In a continuing effort to serve Miami, plans and specifications are being prepared to provide sanitary sewers in the area bounded by S.W. 22 Street (Coral Way), S.W. 26 Street, S.W. 27 Avenue, and S.W. 37 Avenue. To Serve this area, the Department of Public Works has designed the Pines Sanitary Sewer Improvement, SR-5450-C, (Centerline Sewer), and SR-5450-S, (Sideline Sewer), as an assessable Improvement under Section 56 of the City Charter. REASON FOR Part of the City's continuing program to provide WORK sanitary sewers throughout the City of Miami. This district is bounded by S.W. 22 Street (Coral Way), S.W. 26 Street, S.W. 27 Avenue and S.W. 37 Avenue. SIZE OF AREA - Approximate Acres 330 • Approximate Population 11,600 SOURCE OF FUNDS - G.O. Bond - Sanitary Sewers PROJECT - This improvement was included in the 1976 Sanitary HISTORY G.O.B. Issue program presented to the electorate and is scheduled, in the 1977-83 C.I.P., to be under construction in 1978-79. The original Pines area has been divided into three improvements in order to make bidding more competitive by giving smaller contractors an opportunity to bid. These 3 improvements are titled Pines, Avalon and S. Bay and are all scheduled to be under construction in 1978-79.
