Parkes, Director Department of Public Works t.141, t:: 5tiOJECt •t September 19, 1978 Amendment to Capital Improvement Appropriations Ordinance No.8716 (For September 28, 1978 Commission. a K:FC F7E„c?, J: Meeting) ENCLCS;t,CES• Amendment Attached is an amendment to the Capital Improvement Appropriations Ordinance for making adjustments in the 1970 Highway General Obligation Bond fund. These adjustments are needed to fund the bid awarded by the Commission for the Coconut Grove Business Area Highway Improvement H-4408 on September 28, 1973. Our total cost for this project is $996,000. Funds are to come from the 1970 Highway General Obligation Bond account. The previous allocation of $800,000 for this project will be increased $196,000 by reduction of the funds allocated for the S. W. 22 Street Highway Improvement. There will be no change in the total amount of Highway General Obligation Bond funds appropriated. A request to dispense with the requirement of reading on the amend- ment to the Capital Improvement Appropriations Ordinance #8716 on two separate days has been requested. Construction is estimated to begin in November, 1978.
