DOCUMENTS FOLLOW" WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were received September 11, 1978 for the furnishing of 10,250 feet of Fire Hose for Department of Fire; and WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to eighteen potential two bids were received; and WHEREAS, funds for this purchase are available in the 1977-7 fiscal Year Operating Budget; and WHEREAS, this equipment will be used by the Department of Fire 'Ibis the purpose of regular replacement of outdated hose; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Fire recommend the bid received from Biscayne Fire Equipment Co. be accepted as the most advantageous bid to the City; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The September 11, 1978 bid of Biscayne Fire Equipment Co. for furnishing .10,250 feet of Fire Hose at a total cost of $15,965.00 is accepted with funds hereby allocated i'rom the 1977-78 Fiscal Year Operating Budget. Section 2.
